Shipping & Policies
Thanks so much for shopping here at DB Maker! I’ve set up this niche shop to provide supplies that accompany the DB Maker courses. As many of you have seen, I exclusively utilize Vlisco fabrics for my signature gig bags and, after many many requests for this fabric, I have begun selling it in cut yardage and some bundles from time to time (one day I hope to keep some stocked, but for now, it sells out very quickly!).
Please just keep in mind that it’s just me, Deena, behind all of this, so in order to keep making the courses, providing support on our facebook page, sourcing, ordering, photographing and listing the supplies and fabrics, (oh, and working as a researcher as well!) I generally only pack and ship ONE DAY PER WEEK. I try to do this on Fridays, but life happens and the day is a little fluid. Please be sure to join the facebook group and sign up for the newsletter (bottom of page) to get updates on new or re-stocked supplies in the shop and special offers!
Now the boring stuff…
• I make every attempt to check each piece of hardware before it goes out, but in case you get a dud, please just shoot me a quick message (with a photo, ideally) and I’ll replace any defective item or refund you if it’s no longer available.
• I refund shipping overages when they happen. However, if the international shipping cost looks like it CAN’T be right to you (too high), sadly, it is probably correct. Please don’t purchase expecting that it’s incorrect; write to me if in doubt and I can look it up for you to confirm.
• Fabrics, once cut, cannot be returned or exchanged. Please keep in mind that wax print fabrics utilize a batik/wax-resist method of DYING. They are not printed in the typical sense and the imperfections that arise during this process are part of their beauty. These are not defects.
• PLEASE be sure that your Paypal shipping address is correct before placing an order. I cannot ship to any address other than the Paypal address provided at checkout. If, however, you catch a mistake, write to me immediately and I can cancel the order so that you can place it again, after you’ve corrected your Paypal address. If the item has already shipped, I’m afraid it is out of my hands and you should immediately contact USPS with the tracking information and attempt to intercept or re-route the package.
